As a luxury Delafield family photographer, I get SO excited when a family is up for play and adventure during their family session! This fall family session was filled with brotherly love, adventure, farm animals and of course, digging in the dirt!
I met the Kunisch Family at Jelli’s Market in beautiful Lake Country for their fun family session. When Maggie and I were planning their family session, she told me she wanted a rustic farm feel with barns and old fences. I think we found just that at Jelli’s! If you’ve never been there, you are missing out! They have animals, pumpkins, free games and a train ride. They also have apple picking, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, peach picking, and so much more! Check them out here and take a day trip with the whole family.
This farm was truly a beautiful location to capture the fun spirits of this active family. I can only imagine that life with two boys can be crazy, fun, and full of dirt stained knees and adventures. And that is exactly what I captured in this lifestyle family session. I had fun chasing these boys around the farm as they smiled and pointed at the animals.
They also loved the big round hay bales and the tall cornstalks that we found at the end of their session. These boys kept me on my toes as they explored everything around them! Ben was such a loving big brother to Joe. He didn’t mind giving him lots of hugs (which in brother world turned out to be a little bit more of a chokehold, but a hug nonetheless).
Joe Joe was very curious. He enjoyed seeing everything new, touching and climbing everything, and of course, playing in the dirt! One of my favorite shots from this sunset session was when the boys were playing in the dirt by the corn fields. Joe Joe lifted his hands to show me how dirty! Don’t worry, I took that opportunity and snapped away! The sunset was a gorgeous way to conclude our session together.
