It’s not everyday that as a high end Oconomowoc Newborn Photographer, you get to photograph one of your best friends!
I met the Daentl family in their lovely country home in Southern Wisconsin for their newborn session for sweet baby Jude. Jude is their third little one! I had so much fun trying to keep up with his older sister and brother, Ella and Zeek. They truly were the stars of this show!
When I first arrived to their home to take newborn photos of Jude, he was ready for his next meal. So while his mama breastfed him, Ella and Zeek had a chance to show me around their farm. You guys… It was adorable!! They had chickens and sheep. Zeek liked to look in on and point at the chickens. I chased him around with my camera from the chickens right to the sheep where him and Ella took the most adorable sibling photo! These two made it easy on me and were so sweet to one another! Lots of hugs, laughs and hand holding took place! I even caught the perfect sister and brother moment! Ella ran over to play on their tire swing and Zeek went in for a kiss! This might be one of my favorite moments! Ella also got to show off her spin moves!
When we went back in, sweet newborn Jude was all ready to have his newborn photos taken! We snuggled him up with his big sister and brother and I snapped away while I watched them admire his every feature. Ella did such a great job holding him all on her own! She kept looking at him and telling me how tiny he is! Heart melt!! Zeek was pretty little to understand his duties as big brother, but he did know one thing for certain; HE needed to be the one to hold baby Jude for the pictures!
We then ventured upstairs for a bit to take a few of the whole family in the master bedroom, snuggled up on the bed! I got some great giggles out of Zeek for one of these! We did a few in the nursery, which was themed with none other than the infamous Eric Carl’s “Very Hungry Caterpillar”. Then we headed back down and took some nice cozy pictures of mom with her third sweet baby and dad with the kids.
I feel like I always end up saying this, but I really really mean it; this family was SOOOO sweet! You could just tell in their snuggles, kisses and hugs that they love each other in such a real and deep way. It was such a beautiful honor to have been trusted with documenting their first memories as a family of five. Going into homes and capturing real memories of families as they welcome a new baby to the family is one of my favorite things about about being a high end Oconomowoc newborn photographer.
