Hi There!

I’m Talia! Owner and photographer at Talia Laird Photography. I specialize in timeless, fine art, natural light photography and my passion is telling stories with my images of families, newborns, and maternity clients in Lake Country.

I’m the sentimental momma to the sweetest little boy, wife to a good man, a lover of beautiful light (ok, maybe I’m obsessed), a pizza fanatic, and a Friends diehard. I might use too many exclamation marks, I secretly think I am bffs with Joanna Gaines, and I would paint my whole world in white if I could (all white kitchen, anyone?!)! All of these “quirks” (okay maybe the pizza one is irrelevant) are what make me the perfect family photographer to tell your family’s story.

Light, love, details, passing moments you’d like to keep. These are the things that motivate me as a photographer right down to my very soul. My heart can hardly handle the thought of my baby growing up, and I know yours can’t either.

Before being a photographer, I am a mom first. As a mom, I quickly realized that those sweet little babies don’t keep. And that is where my passion for photography turned into an exclusive luxurious family photography experience. My clients finish their experience with luxury heirloom quality, one-of-a-kind artwork displaying in their homes to help them cherish their memories of those sweet babies forever.

Things you should know about me!
1. Nothing could be more tragic than memories that never leave the hard drive. There is really just something irreplaceable about holding that album or the feel of prints in your hands. I have made it my priority to find the highest quality fine art albums and wall art that you and your family will cherish in your home for years, and pass down as a family heirloom.

2. Capturing REAL is a must! The small moments are the ones that really matter! I like to snuggle a family up together in some gorgeous lighting and snap away while they cuddle, play, and laugh. With some gentle posing, I will capture natural moments of love and connection.

3. I am passionate about providing a complete portrait experience and wouldn’t want you to try to plan outfits alone, coordinate the kids on your own, or worry about trying to design albums or find quality prints on your own. I love doing all the leg work for you so that you can simply enjoy your memories in your home.
