With the freezing cold temperatures and inches of snow, it reminds me of how much I miss the warm weather and spring sessions:( But fear not, the McNeill family session brings back ALL of the warm feels!
If you recall last spring, I had the pleasure to take spring family photos amongst some beautiful Magnolia trees of the McNeill family. It was a dream come true session for me. This spring, Kara reached out to schedule a session that would be a gift for her mother-in-law. As with most of the families I work with, these photos are so special to them! I met the McNeills at this beautiful beach for their family session. I love seeing what the family picks out for wardrobe because that combined with the perfect location makes a magical session. Coordinating wardrobe for an extended family session can be very tricky, but this family selected the most beautiful soft color tones from our client wardrobe and it looked absolutely perfect on the beach!
One of my favorite parts of this session was watching Teri play with her grandkids in the water- they were so natural in front of the camera- it was almost as if I wasn’t there! These types of sessions are always my favorites because I get to see and capture real, natural, raw interactions and the emotions behind them always produce some of my favorite images.
It was an honor to photograph this family again, and with their extended family. When families reach out months later to me to photograph more sessions with them, it fills my heart with joy. I love watching families grow and capturing these special moments with their loved ones.
And don’t forget to leave some love for the McNeill family in the comments below!
