As a Pewaukee Family Photographer I love the energy in this Pewaukee Family Session!!
I met this gorgeous family at their lovely home in Pewaukee, Wisconsin for a fun lifestyle family session to celebrate their littlest one’s first birthday! What a blast I had taking their family pictures; both girls loved music and showed me all of their books and toys. But more importantly, they showed me their love for one another! This was SUCH a fun session!
One of my favorite parts of this family session was when I asked big sister, Mila, if she likes to give her little sister, Fiona, kisses and she replied, “I give her kisses every day.” Heart melt!! Mila was such a fun girl; when her parents popped the music on she instantly broke out in dance! She also loved to show me all of her special things. As you scroll through the images, you will see her showing me her ballet tutu, and her very special trinkets on her dresser that used to be mommas when she was a little girl. Such a special piece. I could tell that Mila and her mom have a very loving bond; they snuggled, played, and even had matching toe nail polish.
It was Fiona’s one year milestone so of course she needed to have a photo session!
And the birthday girl, Fiona, absolutely loved her cake! She gave me some of the sweetest smiles! Her outfit with her flower headband was SO sweet! She was the cutest thing when she would take a nibble of cake or a lick of frosting and then clap for herself with the biggest grin! She also loved to hide and then peek out at me! There is one shot below where she was hiding behind the ottoman in her nursery and I just knew she was going to peek out so I waited, camera ready, and she didn’t disappoint! In a matter of just a few seconds, there she was with the sweetest smile!
Since the Larsons just moved here from Chicago, they have a brand new home just waiting for some gorgeous prints, or gallery wrapped canvases. I can’t wait to see which ones they loved most and choose to decorate their walls with. These moments will be a great reminder for years to come of how much fun their girls are at this age.
