There is nothing I love more than luxury newborn sessions in Lake Country!
I met the sweet Kimmerle family for their luxury newborn session at their cozy new home near Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (in Hubertus). Baby Penelope was such a dream for her session. She snuggled up so sweetly with both mom and dad. They have such love for their newborn little one, and I was honored to capture it for them. These are moments I know they will look back on fondly.
When Ashlie reached out to me at the end of her pregnancy, I just knew we’d be a great match! In her welcome questionnaire, she said she was most looking forward to just capturing some genuine moments with their new baby in their natural setting. I love families that are just ready to love on their baby. Meanwhile I hide in the corner with my camera and shoot away. Her and Max were so in love. With one another, and their sweet Penelope. Their love story began as high school sweethearts, when Max came to stay in the United States as a foreign exchange student from Germany. And now they welcome their little girl and start their lives as a family of three.
One of my favorite things about being a newborn photographer in Lake Country, is seeing all of the gorgeous tiny details that were hand selected just for baby. Most of my clients find great joy in personalizing the nursery. They select the most intricate finishings that are special and unique. For sweet baby Penelope’s newborn session, I was able to photograph her throughout most of their lovely home because there was such beautiful natural light throughout the majority of the house. But even so, the nursery shots are some of my favorite! I can tell that Ashlie and Max took extra special care in selecting the things that would surround their beautiful baby daughter. And wait until you see the teeny tiny baby moccasins… aweee!! I just love that everything about this session screams how excited Ashlie and Max are to welcome home their newborn baby!
